Iranian Air Force fighter jet crashes

CHABAHAR , (DNA) –  A training F-4 jet of Iran ‘s Air Force Wednesday crashed in southeastern Iran , a local official said. Mohammad-Hadi Mar’ashi, deputy governor general of Konarak, Province of Sistan-Baluchestan, told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) that the pilot and co-pilot of the plane, who had ejected prior to the crash, were injured.

PARIS, (DNA) – France ‘s army says a French military helicopter has crashed in Ivory Coast during a training mission, killing the pilot and injuring another crew member.The army says the 25-year-old officer died yesterday night of injuries sustained when his Gazelle helicopter crashed about 20 kilometers (12 miles) east of Abidjan earlier in the day.

Muslim scholars plead for peace in Afghanistan

SBP directs banks to collect funds for dams’ construction

KARACHI,  (DNA) – Following the instructions of the Supreme Court, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday ordered all the commercial banks and microfinance banks operating in the country to open ‘Diamer Basha and Mohmand Dam Fund Account-2018’ to collect funds for construction of the dams.The consumers can make donations and contributions to the funds in the form of cash, cheque, prize bonds and other cash equivalents hereto, against which the bank shall issue a proper receipt.
