LONDON, APR 23 (DNA) – If you thought hitting the gym only builds your physical strength, think again. A study of nearly half a million people has revealed that stronger people perform better in brain functioning tests. Muscular strength, measured by handgrip, is an indication of how healthy our brains are, said the study published in the journal Schizophrenia Bulletin.

Qatar Airways to add three more weekly flights to Jordan

DOHA, APR 23 (DNA) – Qatar Airways has announced that it will add three additional weekly frequencies to Amman, the capital city of Jordan, commencing from May 2 and 3 2018. The additional frequencies, which arrive just in time for the summer holiday season, will increase the airline’s weekly services to Amman to 12. ISLAMABAD, APR 22 (DNA)- Nishtar Hockey Club gate-crashed into the semis of Inter Club Hockey Tournament by defeating Kuri club by 08 goals to 01. The Nishtar Club will now play semi final tomorrow (Monday).
The Nishtar Club, from the outset, attacked opponents goal post in an aggressive manner, that put Krui Club on the defensive.

Pakistan among top 5 countries in infrastructure investment

ISLAMABAD, APR 20 (DNA) – Pakistan has become one of top five countries across the globe in Private Infrastructure Investment during the year 2017 as it received $5.9 billion during the year, according to a report released by World Bank. “Fifty-two countries received PPI investments in 2017, which was a significant increase over the 2016 level of 37 countries, and the past five-year average of 41 countries,” the report said adding that China received $17.5 billion across 73 projects; Indonesia $15.4 billion across 11 projects; Mexico $8.6 billion across 20 projects; Brazil $7.3 billion across 24 projects; and Pakistan received $5.9 billion across four projects.

Africa’s last absolute monarch renames Swaziland as ‘eSwatini’

MBABANE, APR 20 (DNA) –  Swaziland’s King Mswati III, Africa’s last absolute monarch, said on Thursday he was officially renaming the country as the Kingdom of eSwatini.He announced the change to eSwatini, meaning “land of the Swazis”, in the local Swati language at Golden Jubilee celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Swazi independence and of his 50th birthday.The king has referred to the “Kingdom of eSwatini” several times in recent years – in an address to the UN General Assembly in 2017 and at African Union and other international conferences.
