THARPARKAR: (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday announced a massive health package for the residents of Tharparkar under the ‘Insaf Health Card’ scheme, which is expected to benefit 112,000 families.Addressing a public gathering in Chachro, PM Imran said he chose Tharparkar for his visit as it is the least developed area of the country.“The government is introducing the Sehat Insaf Card through which Rs720,000 will be made available per family.”
Two more Pakistani prisoners die in India
BHUJ/AMRITSAR (DNA) – Two more Pakistani prisoners died in Indian jails, reported Indian media.
According to details, one Pakistani prisoner Mohammad Anin Chaudhary lost his life at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital during treatment. He was in Palara Jail since 2017 for illegally crossing the India-Pakistan border in the Creek area for fishing.”In March last year, he was sentenced to three years in jail by a local court. He was lodged at the Palara jail near Bhuj.

CENTCOM commander Gen Joseph lauds Pak’s role for regional peace, stability
WASHINGTON DC (DNA) – Head of U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) General Joseph Votel has lauded Pakistan’s role for maintaining peace and stability in the region.While giving briefing in the Senate, the general said, “We have had some success with Pakistan, they’ve been more helpful in terms of bringing the Taliban to the [peace negotiating] table. E-cigarette use linked to heart trouble: study
WASHINGTON: (DNA) – People who use e-cigarettes are more likely to have heart problems than those who don’t, says a study released on Thursday in the US.The rate of heart attacks among those who vape was 34 percent higher than among those who don’t, once corrections were made for risk factors such as age, gender, body mass index, cholesterol level, blood pressure and tobacco use.E-cigarette users were 25 percent more likely to have coronary artery disease and 55 percent more likely to suffer from depression or anxiety, the study says.

Two Kashmiri street vendors thrashed by Indian mob in Lucknow
LUCKNOW (DNA) – Amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and India after Pulwama attack, saffron-clad men tortured two Kashmiri street vendors with a stick in Lucknow.
In a bid to shut freedom movement, the Indian mob abused, slapped and thrashed the Kashmiris, who were selling dry fruits, because of their identity.However, some locals stepped into the matter and rescued the vendors.A video of the incident, which took place in Daliganj area, has gone viral on social media sites.
Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir to visit Pakistan
