Ex-Indian general lauds ISPR for outclassing Indian army in information war

A former General of Indian Army, Lt Gen (Retd) Syed Ata Hasnain has commended the Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations for adopting outstanding strategy in the domain of hybrid warfare.Speaking at a seminar organized by International Institute of Strategic Studies in London, he acknowledged that ISPR outclassed the Indian army in information war.

ECP asks voters to transfer vote on CNIC address by March 31

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday asked the eligible voters to transfer their vote on their permanent or temporary address written on their computerized national identity card (CNIC) by March 31.According to an official of the ECP, votes would be considered as ineffective of all those voters who failed to transfer their votes on CNIC address with the ECP under the law.

PM Imran performs ground-breaking of New Gwadar International Airport

Two SC employees suspended for issuing Nawaz’s bail after court timings

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – The Supreme Court suspended two of its staffers for delivering the written order for Nawaz Sharif’s suspension of sentence in Al-Azizia reference case at Kot Lakhpat jail after the court timings.On Wednesday, the apex court had directed authorities to release former prime minister Nawaz Sharif after he was granted a six-week bail on medical grounds.The verdict was supposed to first reach the Lahore jail’s administration so they could release the three-time premier in light of the court orders.

Afghan envoy to return to Islamabad after PM Imran’s remarks clarified

KABUL: (DNA) – Afghanistan will return its ambassador to Islamabad after Pakistan clarified Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks that Kabul had deemed to be political interference, the Afghan foreign ministry said on Thursday.On Wednesday, Pakistan’s Foreign Office clarified that PM Imran’s comments on Afghanistan had been misinterpreted and reported out of context in the media, leading to an unwarranted reaction from various quarters.In his comments on Monday, the prime minister had referred to Pakistan’s model where elections are held under an interim government. “The comments should not be misinterpreted to imply interference in Afghanistan’s internal affairs,” an FO statement said.
