NEW DELHI, JUN 06 (DNA) – Actor-filmmaker Anil Kapoor says he feels protective towards his son Harshvardhan as he is still naive in Bollywood. The actor spoke about his son, who made his debut in Bollywood with Mirzya last year, in an interview in GQ India’s June 2017 issue, read a statement. “I’m protective because I feel Harsh is still naive. Like for example, he’ll say no to very big film-makers. I hope they understand that he really wants to work with them and means well, but he’s not ready to do those films. I wish he’d at least spoken to me before… But it’s fine… That’s his decision,” Anil said.

He also told : “I just haven’t got time to respond to tweets from Donald Trump. “Honestly I’ve got better and more important things to focus on.”

We approached Aishwarya for the part and are glad she agreed to come on-board.”
World’s first driverless rail transit system unveiled in China
BEIJING, JUN 04 (DNA) – A Chinese railcar-maker has unveiled a new product called Autonomous Rail Transit (ART) in Zhuzhou, Hunan province of China, and the bus-rail combo rapid transit system is expected to speed up city’s public transportation. According to the railcar-maker CRRC, the ART uses rubber wheels on a plastic core instead of steel wheels. It’s also equipped with the company’s copyrighted technology to automatically guide the vehicles. It carries the advantages of both rail and bus transit systems and is agile and non-polluting.

A win for European Union in French election

Whether it is the winds of fortune or poor sailing of his opponents, Emmanuel Macron is the new French president. Surprisingly, Macron did quite well in the second round and defeated Le Pen with a clear margin. Massive blast hits Kabul diplomatic quarter, casualties feared
KABUL, MAY 31 (DNA) – At least 40 people were killed or wounded Wednesday as a massive blast ripped through Kabul’s diplomatic quarter, shattering the morning rush hour and bringing carnage to the streets of the Afghan capital. Bodies littered the scene and a huge plume of smoke rose from the area which houses foreign embassies. However, it was not immediately clear what the target was. Witnesses described dozens of cars choking the roads as wounded survivors and panicked schoolgirls sought safety, with men and woman struggling to get through security checkpoints to search for loved ones.
China warns India over longest bridge in Arunachal Pradesh
NEW DELHI, MAY 30 (DNA) – China on Monday asked India to be “cautious” and exercise “restraint” over building infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh, days after a bridge that links it to neighbouring Assam was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said. China claims Arunachal Pradesh as South Tibet. India has repeatedly rejected that stand, asserting that the border state is an integral part of India. “We hope India adopts a cautious and restrained attitude on the issue before the final settlement of the border issue with China to jointly control disputes, safeguard peace and tranquillity in the border areas,” the Chinese Foreign Ministry told.
Pakistan hockey team leaves for UK to take part in World League
LAHORE, MAY 27 (DNA) – The Pakistan hockey team left for the United Kingdom to take part in the World League, due to be held from June 15 to June 25. Pakistan is part of Pool B in the FIH Hockey World League which also includes India, Scotland, Canada, and Netherlands. Pool A consists of Korea, Malaysia, Argentina, England, and China are part of Pool A. The top six teams of the tournament will qualify for the Hockey World Cup.
