Convicted army officers handed over to civil jail authorities: ISPR
RAWALPINDI (DNA) – Two senior army officers and a civilian, charged with espionage on May 30, have been handed over to civilian jail authorities, according to director general of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).”Three officers sentenced on 30 May 2019 have been handed over to civil jail authorities,” DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said on Twitter.He said the officers had been immediately arrested upon intelligence about their involvement in espionage. They remained under the military‘s custody throughout their trials, the DG ISPR added.

Makkah declaration renews support to Palestinian cause
MAKKAH, (DNA) – The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation has renewed its commitment to the Palestinian cause saying that it opposes all illegal Israeli measures aimed at changing facts in occupied Palestinian territories including Jerusalem, and undermining the two-state solution.The OIC Summit in Makkah in its final statement in Makkah condemned any position adopted by an international body that supports prolonging occupation of Palestinian territories, including a U.S. decision to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
PM, Saudi Crown Prince discuss matters of mutual interests

Scrutiny of 2,249 online applications for Pakistan visa underway
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – National Data Base Registration Authority (NADRA) on Saturday has started process of scrutiny of online applications filed by foreign tourists for Pakistan visa.The authority said that 2,249 people have applied for the visa so far, adding that 739 applications had been received during a single week starting from May 6.
