Shabbar Zaidi rejects news of extension in amnesty scheme
ISLAMABAD, JUNE 29 (DNA): Chairman Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Shabbar Zaidi has rejected the news regarding extension in the date of amnesty scheme.He said no such option under consideration.PTI minister Faisla Vawda in a tweet earlier today said that the tax declaration scheme is being extended by four days.He said that the clause of depositing the declared money in the bank accounts is no longer the part of this scheme. “You can declare but there’s no need to deposit,” Vawda added.

National Assembly passes budget 2019-20
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The National Assembly on Friday approved the Budget for Fiscal Year 2019-20 after more than two weeks since it was presented by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government on June 11 with a total outlay of Rs7.02 trillion.On June 11, Minister of State for Revenue Hammad Azhar has unveiled the first budget for fiscal year 2019-20 of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)-led federal government with an outlay of Rs7.02 trillion, in the National Assembly (NA) in Islamabad.
