Chinese foreign minister meets Prime Minister Imran Khan

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 8 (DNA) -State Councilor and Foreign Minister of the People’s Republic of China, Wang Yi, paid an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on 7-8 September 2019. During the visit, Wang Yi called on President Arif Alvi, Prime Minister Imran Khan, held talks with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and met with Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa. During the meetings, both sides had an in-depth exchange of views on bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Provinces should expand the network of Sasta Bazaar: NPMC

ISLAMABAD, SEPT 07 (DNA) – The National Price Monitoring Committee (NPMC) suggested to the provincial governments and the Islamabad Capital Territory administration to expand the network of Sasta Bazaar to ensure the availability of essential foods at lower prices to wider population.The recommendation is a positive development amidst the economic crisis and the rise in daily usages items.According to the details, the meeting was attended by the representatives of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, ICT, ministries of industries, law and justice, commerce, national food security and research, planning, development and reform and inter-provincial coordination, CCP, Bureau of Statistics, Utility Stores Corporation and Federal Board of Revenue.

Pakistan embassy celebrates defence & Kashmir solidarity day in Tajikistan

US CENTCOM commander General McKenzie arrives in Pakistan

Arshad Malik video case: FIA clears Nasir Janjua, Mahar Ghulam Jilani Khurram Yousaf

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – In another major breakthrough in the former accountability court judge Arshad Malik’s video scandal case, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday cleared Nasir Janjua, Mahar Ghulam Jilani and Khurram Yousaf, who had been sent on a five-day physical remand for further investigation into the case.In an investigation report, the FIA has determined that no evidence was found against the three suspects and the court could discharge them from custody if it wants to.
