Batik workshop: Indonesian cultural icon fascinates participants

ISLAMABAD, NOV 11 (DNA) – The Indonesia cultural icon fascinated the participants of Batik workshop, who gathered at the Indonesian residence to practically take part in Batik preparation drill.

The spouse of the Indonesian Ambassador Rita Berlinia Amri hosted a lively Coffee Morning on Monday and Batik workshop.

The Coffee Morning brought the guests an opportunity to understand and get exposure to the Indonesia’s diverse culture and its philosophical, cultural and historical values through its signature and most famous Indonesian textile which is called Batik.

Pakistan dismayed over Indian apex court verdict on Babri Mosque

ISLAMABAD, NOV 9 (DNA) Pakistan on Saturday expressed dismay over the verdict of Indian Supreme Court saying the decision has, once again, failed to uphold the demands of justice.

Gen Zubair Hayat pays farewell call on Naval Chief

Islamabad, 07  Nov 19:           The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat bid farewell call on Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi at Naval Headquarters.

Upon arrival at Naval Headquarters, the dignitary was received by Chief of the Naval Staff. A smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Navy presented Guard of Honour.

Later, General Zubair Mahmood Hayat called on Chief of the Naval Staff in his office. During the meeting Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi acknowledged and commended the remarkable services of General Zubair Mahmood Hayat during his tenure as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. Admiral highlighted the dynamic role played by the Chairman in his tenure of service to enhance the operational capabilities of Pakistan Armed Forces, Inter Services cooperation and transformation into potent and well coherent integrated forces of the region. The Naval Chief also appreciated his long meritorious services for the defence of country and Armed Forces.

Four ambassadors visit Northern Areas with families

GILGIT, NOV 7 (DNA) –Ambassador of various countries visit Gilgit Baltistan in order to enjoy beauty of Northern Areas of Pakistan.Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan visited Northern Areas. Some of the ambassadors have also taken their families to NAs.Ambassador of Azerbaijan in his social media message said they had a wonderful visit to the Northern Areas of Pakistan (Gilgit-Baltistan, Hunza, Skardu, Shigar) along with some colleagues.

They got acquainted with the beauties of this region besides exploring the potentials of this region. He said they also discussed the possibilities of further strengthening of cooperation with the government of Gilgit-Baltistan.

PM Imran, Abu Dhabi crown prince discuss bilateral cooperation, regional issues on phone

ISLAMABAD (dna News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday called Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan to talk about bilateral cooperation and regional issues, Dunya News reported.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed is also the deputy supreme commander of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Armed Forces.

According to sources, both leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation as well as the latest regional and international developments and issues of mutual interest.
