WASHINGTON, OCT 21 (DNA) – International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank have assured continued support to Pakistan’s economy.The assurances were given by the Managing Directors of the IMF and the Work Bank during separate meetings with Adviser on Finance Abdul Hafeez Sheikh in Washington.During a meeting with Managing Director of World Bank Axel Van Trotsenburg, Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh highlighted the government’s focus on expediting speedy rollout of the World Bank’s projects and actions being taken in this regard.

Azadi March: Opposition’s Rahbar Committee to decide on govt talks offer today

Court issues notice to PCB to explain Misbah-ul-Haq holding 3 designations simultaneously
LAHORE (DNA) – The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday issued a notice to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in a petition against cricket’s head coach-cum-chief selector Misbah-ul-Haq for holding three designations at the same time.Sources familiar with the matter told the media that the petition pleaded with the court to immediately restrict Misbah from working in the cricket board as he had no experience pertaining to three positions.Meanwhile, the court has asked the PCB to explain the matter.

Labuan Bajo was only a small fishing site that today has flourished to become the gateway to many exotic destinations in East Nusa Tenggara. Its population is around 2.5 million people. Around 60000 people are living in Labuan Bajo. The main source of income of people of the island happens to be tourism; fishing while a small number of public sector jobs are also available.

Waqar Younis to hold bowlers camp in Lahore over weekend
