Islamabad: Saudi FM meets Pakistani counterpart, discusses bilateral ties

ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud on Thursday has arrived in Pakistan on a one-day visit and met his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi.During the meeting that was held at Foreign Office in Islamabad, both the leaders discussed bilateral relations and regional issues of mutual interest. They also deliberated upon the ways to strengthen the ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Turkish president pays surprise visit to Tunisia over Libyan issue

Wednesday morning to Tunisia in a surprise visit to meet with his
Tunisian counterpart Kaies Saied.“The Libyan issue will be at the top of the agenda for this surprise

projects,” said Rachida Ennaifer, adviser to the Tunisian presidency in

Exclusive: Tax fraud involving Rs 134 million unearthed

ISLAMABAD, DEC 25 (DNA) – The Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation of Inland Revenue, Faisalabad has unearthed a big scam of issuing/adjusting fake and flying invoices involving tax fraud involving over Rs 134 million and an FIR has been registered against M/s Arrow International, and 65 companies which were buyers, suppliers and other beneficiaries of M/s Arrow International.

Chinese govt giving special attention to development of Xinjiang province

Japan, Pakistan ink MOC for “specified skilled workers”

ISLAMABAD, DEC 23 (DNA) – The Government of Japan today signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) with the Government of Pakistan regarding the “Specified Skilled Workers” which aims to pave the way for skilled Pakistani workers to get employment opportunities in Japan under this cooperation framework after passing the required examination.Pakistan is among the top ten countries where Japan is looking to hire skilled human resource during the second phase of this policy.
