Production of electric cars to start in Fergana region in October 2022

Target list of investment projects for the development of industry, services and agricultural products processing in Margilan and Kokand cities of Fergana region in 2020-2022 has been announced.According to the document, the organization of production of electric cars by “Shaffof omadli sanoat” LLC is set for October 1, 2022.The production capacity of the plant is 2,000 electric cars a year. The total project cost is $40 million, including $24 million of foreign direct investment. Reportedly, the plant will create 300 jobs.

JV MAN AUTO-UZBEKISTAN hands over new buses to Tashkent International Airport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan – JV MAN AUTO-UZBEKISTAN transferred new MAN A22 bused to representatives of Islam Karimov Tashkent International Airport.New low-floor buses were purchased to improve passenger service. Buses manufactured by JV MAN Auto-Uzbekistan will now deliver passengers from the airport terminal directly to the aircraft and vice versa.MAN A22 buses with a length of 12 meters are produced on the basis of the MAN chassis. The low floor and the “tilt” system of the bus creates additional conveniences for passengers to enter and exit, and the air conditioning and heating system provides a comfortable temperature in the bus cabin all year round.

PM expresses confidence to efface status quo, resistance of corrupt mafia

Shahid Khaqan Abbasi successfully operated at private hospital

been successfully operated owing to his gallbladder pain at a private
hospital.According to family sources, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)
leader was shifted to his personal room in the hospital where he also

Uzbekistan expects more tourists from Pakistan: Davrukov Fakhriddin

TASHKENT, DEC 28 (DNA) Davrukov Fakhriddin, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development has said Uzbekistan accords great importance to its relations with Pakistan adding being one of the largest countries in the region, we expected big flow of tourists from Pakistan.

He said Uzbekistan has seen huge influx of tourists from across the globe during past few years mainly because of excellent facilities provided to the tourists and liberalization of visa regime.

China gifts 200 sets of ‘˜King Gesar’ to Pakistan as token of historical bonds

BEIJING, Dec 28 – China’s Sichuan Publishing Group presented 200 sets of King Gesar, an epic story of the East, to Pakistan as a token of the deep-rooted historical cultural ties between the two countries at a ceremony held at Tsinghua University.Pakistan Ambassador to China, Naghmana A. Hashmi, chief guest of the event said she would present the precious collection to the National Library of Pakistan.Due to geographic proximity, the culture, language, lifestyle and architecture of people living in Baltistan of northern Pakistan are similar to those of the Tibet ethnic minority in China. King Gesar is a hero-worshiped by Tibetan, as well as the Baltistan people.

Govt increases Ehsaas Kifalat Program stipend by Rs500 under BISP

ISLAMABAD  – The government has raised the quarterly grant from Rs5,000 to Rs5,500 for 4.3 million beneficiaries under the Ehsaas Kifalat Programme of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Social Protection and Poverty Alleviation and BISP Chairman Dr Sania Nishtar said in a statement.Dr Sania said that the government would now additionally provide Rs8.6 billion for the poverty-stricken individuals.

Iran, Pakistan call for enhanced cooperation in health sector
