ISLAMABAD, APR 27 (DNA)- A delegation of senior media people led by President All Pakistan Newspapers Society (APNS), Hameed Haroon is set to leave for Baku, Azerbaijan to take part in 5th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue .The Forum will take place on May 2. The media delegation is composed of senior people from both print and electronic media. APNS office bearers and members of the prestigious Executive Committee are included in the delegation.Likewise representatives of Pakistan Broadcasting Association (PBA) are also included the delegation.
The delegation will arrive in Baku on April 30 and shall be taken to various important places.
The delegation will also meet with the senior government officials of Azerbaijan and representatives of media houses.
They will then participate in the Forum. The Forum is organized after every two years in Baku with a view to promoting intercultural harmony and dialogue among various stakeholders.
Azerbaijan under the dynamic leadership of President Ilham Aliyev has taken major strides towards development and economic empowerment.
On humanitarian front also the country led by President Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady is doing marvelous job.
The Pakistan delegation will have chance to get more information about various humanitarian projects undertaken by the Azerbaijan government world over. =DNA
