Merck, Pfizer drug combo extends kidney cancer survival: study

A combination of Merck & Co’s immunotherapy Keytruda and Pfizer Inc’s Inlyta helped patients with advanced kidney cancer live longer than those receiving and older Pfizer standalone therapy, according to data from a late-stage study presented on Saturday.Nearly 90 percent of patients who received the combination therapy were still alive after 12 months compared with about 78 percent of patients who were alive after a year when treated with the older drug Sutent, data showed.

The kids were also present at the stadium during Multan’s first match.Afridi said he is “humbled by the love and affection shown by these young patients. Their heart is bigger than their suffering. Iran summons Pakistan envoy over suicide bombing

TEHRAN: (DNA) – Iran’s foreign ministry summoned on Sunday the Pakistani ambassador after Tehran accused Islamabad of backing a group blamed for a suicide attack on its security forces.“The Islamic Republic of Iran expects Pakistan’s government and army to seriously confront … the terrorist groups active on its border with Iran,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.An Iranian official at the ministry called on Pakistan to quickly take the necessary steps for the identification and arrest of the attack’s perpetrators.

Diabetes, blood pressure of Nawaz in control: Dr Asim

NA session postponed for two days to 20 Feb

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – A session of the National Assembly (NA) which was to be held on Monday has been rescheduled for Wednesday at 4pm.According to a representative of the NA, the session has been delayed due to Saudi Arabia Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman’s visit to Pakistan.The crown prince will be staying in Pakistan for two days.The NA staff has been given a holiday on Monday while the Red Zone has been completely sealed.

North Korean envoy hosts reception to celebrate leader’s birthday

Government announces public holiday in Islamabad on Monday
