ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has pleaded with the International Cricket Council (ICC) to take a stern action against the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for ‘politicising’ cricket.The information minister took to Twitter on Friday evening and expressed strong reservations over Indian national cricket team wearing army caps during the third one-day international (ODI) against Australia.Contrarily, the BCCI stated that the Indian cricket team wore army caps to pay tribute to the paramilitary troops who were killed in the Pulwama incident on February 14.
