QUETTA (DNA) – Three suicide bombers were killed and a policeman was martyred and two other officers sustained critical wounds as security forces successfully repulsed an attack in the Police Lines area in Balochistan’s Loralai on Wednesday morning.The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said in a press release on the incident that confirmed that three bombers were attempting to target Police Lines in Loralai.
Pak announces financial support to UN agency helping Palestinian refugees
NEW YORK (DNA) – Pakistan’s Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Maleeha Lodhi on Wednesday said that Pakistan has announced a commitment of financial support to United Nations agency that assists Palestinian refugees.Addressing a conference held in New York, Lodhi said that Pakistan reaffirms its dedication to the Palestinian cause at the 2019 pledging conference. She said Pakistan backed the UN chief’s call and would make a voluntary contribution to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine.
