RAWALPINDI, (DNA) – The Indian government sent on Monday show cause notices to as many as 13 news channels for airing the recent news briefing by DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, in which he issued an unambiguous warning to New Delhi: “Don’t mess with Pakistan”.The Indian information ministry, accused media houses of violating the advisory issued in the aftermath of the Pulwama attack.

LAHORE, (DNA) – The Joint Investigation Team (JIT), probing into the Model Town tragedy, on Monday has summoned several politicians including former chief minister Shehbaz Sharif, his son Hamza Shehbaz, Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan, former provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah, former defence minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, former information minister Pervez Rashid and former minister for water and power Abid Sher Ali.

ISLAMABAD: (DNA) –  Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has cancelled his scheduled visit of Japan.Qureshi had to visit Japan from February 24 to 27 to hold a meeting with the Foreign Minister of Japan over international issues, including the bilateral relations.The visit said to be called off due to ongoing tense situation with India, according to the sources.According to the schedule of the four-day visit, Shah Mehmood Qureshi would have discussed bilateral issues with his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono.
