SC to hear Nawaz’s bail plea on Tuesday

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s plea for bail on medical grounds will be heard in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.According to SC spokesperson, a three-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Asif Saeed Khosa will take up Nawaz Sharif’s appeal. Other judges in the bench include Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Sajjad Ali Shah.

Pakistan seals strategic engagement plan with EU

MNA to table resolution in NA condemning abduction of Hindu girls

LAHORE, (DNA) – A five-point resolution seeking to end the kidnapping of Hindu girls and forced conversions would be tabled in the next session of National Assembly.According to a resolution draft circulated on social media, prominent Hindu lawmaker Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani was asked by Pakistan Hindu Council to play his due role for raising his voice in the parliament, media, civil society and all other forums available, in the wake of recent kidnappings of two Hindu sisters named Reena and Raveena, and another girl Shania from Mirpur Khas. Ages of all three girls are around 13-14 years.

PM Imran orders to probe alleged abduction of Hindu girls

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday ordered a probe into reports of abduction of two Hindu girls in Sindh province and to take immediate steps for their recovery, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry said.The federal minister in his latest tweet said that the prime minister has directed Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar to immediately investigate into the matter of reported abduction of two Hindu girls from Sindh and their shifting to Rahim Yar Khan.

Christchurch Attacks: Body of Pakistani victim to arrive in Karachi on Monday

WELLINGTON/ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The body of a Pakistani man who embraced martyrdom in Christchurch terrorist attack in New Zealand will be brought to homeland on Monday.Pakistan’s High Commissioner to New Zealand has handed over the remains of Pakistani man Areeb Ahmed to the international airline.The plane will land at the Jinnah International Airport on Monday.His funeral prayer will be performed in Dastagir No 9 area and he would be buried in Karachi the same day.
