Government wants to put opposition in jail: Khurshid Shah

PANO AKIL (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Khurshid Shah has on Monday said that the federal government wants to put the opposition in jail and remain alone in the parliament.Khurshid Shah expressed his views in Pano Akil and reiterated that PPP leaders are always ready for the imprisonment.While taunting at Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry, Shah said Chaudhry should have left politics after Hamid Khan’s comments.

Court indicts Pervaiz Ashraf, Babar Awan, others in Nandipur power plant case

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Accountability court on Monday has indicted seven accused including former Prime Minister (PM) Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Babar Awan in Nandipur Power Plant reference.
The other accused included former law secretary Riaz Kiyani, Masood Chishti, ex-consultant Shumaila Mahmood, former joint secretary Riaz Mahmood and ex-secretary Shahid Rafique. 

Misadventure by India expected: Hamza Shehbaz

India wants to isolate Pakistan diplomatically: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

MULTAN (DNA) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Sunday said India wants to isolate Pakistan diplomatically and tried to degrade it at every forum.The foreign minister was addressing a ceremony in Multan. He said New Delhi blames Islamabad without any evidence whenever any unwanted incident happens.Shah Mehmood stated that India and Bangladesh held South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) hostage.

South Korea and China using ‘Artificial Rain’ to wash away air pollution

(DNA) – Air pollution has become a major problem no matter where you live, and it can get particularly bad in Seoul, the capital of South Korea – and so the government authorities are taking drastic action to try and deal with the smog that settles over the city.The latest plan from President Moon Jae-in is to create artificial rain showers to effectively wash the air pollution out of the sky. It’s a strategy we have seen before, but there is still no solid evidence that it actually works.The idea is called cloud seeding: specific chemicals are released into the air, usually by planes, with the intention of encouraging water droplets to form. The rain that is created then attracts and pulls polluting aerosol particles out of the sky as it falls.

Pakistan condemns drone attack in Saudi Arabia

Will consider it murder if something happens to Nawaz Sharif: Khurshid Shah

SUKKUR (DNA) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah on Sunday said incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sharif’s health is not well, and it will be considered a murder if something happens to him.The PPP leader talked to media in Sukkur after inaugurating plantation campaign. He said Prime Minister Imran Khan will be responsible if any harm is done to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) supremo. Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports are worrying, he said.
