Tokayev wins Kazakhstan’s presidency with 70.76 percent of vote, official preliminary results say
NUR-SULTAN, (DNA) – Incumbent Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received 70.76 percent of the vote (6,504,024 votes) in Kazakhstan’s June 9 presidential election, said Central Election Commission (CEC) Deputy Chairman Konstantin Petrov at a June 10 CEC briefing on preliminary election results.The preliminary results indicate that Tokayev has won a clear victory among the seven candidates. He held the lead in the nationwide exit poll results released earlier in the day, in which he was expected to secure 70.13 percent of the vote.
NAB arrests Punjab Opposition Leader Hamza Shehbaz

PTM leader Gulalai Ismail arrested over anti state speeches
ISLAMABAD, JUNE 10 (DNA) – Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leader Gulalai Ismail has been arrested from Peshawar over making anti state speeches.Two cases were registered against Gulalai under terrorism provisions. The cases against PTM activist were registered in Shehzad town and Koral police stations. Gulali was arrested during a raid under the supervision of SHO Koral in Peshawar.

NA business advisory committee discusses schedule for budget session

It was decided that general discussion on the Budget will be initiated from June 14, 2019 and Advisor to the PM on Finance and Revenue will wind up the general discussion on the Budget followed by discussion on appropriation in respect of charged expenditure 2019-2020 on June 25, 2019.
