Ayeza Khan faces problem in Bollywood debut due to escalating ties

LAHORE (DNA) – Pakistani glamorous actress Ayeza Khan is facing problem in her Bollywood debut due to escalating tensions between the both countries after Pulwama attack.In a statement, Ayeza said that she has got several offers to work in Indian movie but due to hostile ties between the both states, it was difficult for her to pursue them.One of the greatest directors in India had also signed me and Danish in lead roles but when we decided to go India, the situation deteriorated, she added.

RCCI fears shut down of cottage industry

RAWALPINDI, JUNE 16 (DNA) – The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) has shown strong resentment on measures taken in fiscal budget 2019-20 and termed that proposed redefinition will wiped out the cottage industry in the country.RCCI President Malik Shahid Saleem while addressing post budget seminar at Chamber house said that four changes have been proposed under new definition for cottage industry, one not having an industrial gas/electricity connection, second, must be located in residential area, thirdly, employing not more than 10 labourers working and fourth, the annual turnover should not more than Rs. 2 million.

KP Govt establishes first-ever police station in Wana

LAHORE, JUN 15 (DNA) – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established first ever police station in Wana at South Waziristan.According to details, the Frontier Corps has vacated Wana Fort and handed over to police department for police station. Similar police stations will also be established in other areas of tribal districts shortly.The KP police department in a statement said that initially some 30 policemen have been deployed at the police station. They added that with the passage of time, the number of police personnel, at the police station, will be increased.
