PM Inspection Commission prepares recommendations against gas theft
ISLAMABAD, FEB 23 (DNA) – Prime Minister’s Inspection Commission has prepared recommendations to prevent gas theft across the country.The Commission has recommended to resume World Bank’s 2016 project and necessary amendments in OGRA ordinance for public benefit.The commission has also recommended changes in UFG rate, metering, billing and reporting to improve the system. The commission proposed that heavy fines should be imposed on companies for wasting gas from gas-wells.=DNA

CDA issues tenders for development of Sector I-14
ISLAMABAD, FEB 23 (DNA) – In continuation of efforts to complete development of stalled projects and completion of residual work in the sector pending since years, Capital Development Authority (CDA) has to initiate improvement work on drainage system of Sector I-14.Earlier, funds amounting to Rs. 9.37 million were allocated for improvement of drainage system entire sector and now tenders in this regard have been issued.Under this initiative, existing drainage system laid out in all sub-sectors of Sector I-14 would be repaired and improved while in the areas where drainage system does not exist will be covered under this project.

Turkish Pegasus Airlines to commence operations in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, FEB 22 (DNA) – Turkish private airline company Pegasus on Saturday announced plans to launch flights to Pakistan.According to a statement issued by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the Pegasus airline will launch flights to Pakistan from March 28.The air transport department of CAA has issued an official travel notification to Turkish airline Pegasus for flight operation.The Turkish carrier will fly between Karachi and Istanbul four times a week, said CAA in a statement. The move comes following the Turkish President Erdogan’s successful visit to Pakistan.
