ISLAMABAD, AUG 21 (DNA) — Funeral prayer of Islamabad capital police Constable Muhammad Amjad was offered at Police Lines Headquarters. Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO) Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, Senior police officers and a large number of police officials offered the funeral prayer.
According to the details, the funeral prayer of Constable Muhammad Amjad posted at the Security division of Islamabad capital police was offered at Police Lines Headquarters. Later police officer was shifted to hospital due to a heart attack but he could not survive and was reunited with his real creator.
A smartly turned-out contingent of the police personnel presented a guard of honour. Police officers shouldered the coffins and later the bodies were sent to his respective native town in district Faisalabad, Punjab.
The Islamabad Capital City Police Officer (ICCPO), Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan condoled with the family of the deceased and assured the grieved families of full support from the department and that their family would be taken care of. Constable Muhammad Amjad left behind a widow and two sons. — DNA
