Cabinet to take up NZ team tour cancellation in next meeting

ISLAMABAD, SEP 18 (DNA) – The federal cabinet meeting will deliberate on the current political and economic situation including the cancellation of New Zealand cricket team’s tour cancellation in its meeting next week.

Reportedly, the federal cabinet will meet on Sept 21. It will take up matters pertaining to the country’s political and economic situation. It will also broach the subject of New Zealand cricket team’s sudden cancellation of its tour.

The cabinet will consider a 21-point agenda during its session. The cabinet members will be given a briefing on Electronic Voting Machines and voting right to overseas Pakistanis. The amendments to the Rules of Business, 1973 of Communication Ministry will also be the part of the agenda.

The cabinet will give approval to the name of Trading Corporation of Pakistan chairman. It will also give a go-ahead to the audit of Nadra’s financial year 2021.

The cabinet will decide about Uzbekistan’s inclusion in the business visa list. It will also mull over the import of movies from the regional countries. It will okay budget for Jammu Kashmir state property. The matter of opening up of an alternate altercation resolution centre in Islamabad will also be discussed.

The cabinet will give approval for the appointment of DRAP CEO. It will give recommendations for the population census. It will take up the matter of railway board members’ appointment.

The deliberation on the cabinet committee for privatization and endorsement of ECC decisions will also be the part of the cabinet meeting agenda. = DNA
