ISLAMABAD, FEB 02 (DNA) – Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) has expressed dissatisfaction over delay and slow pace of work Ataturk Avenue Project and directed for speedy completion of the project.Chief Commissioner Islamabad and Chairman CDA Amer Ali Ahmed visited the Ataturk Avenue here on Saturday to inspect the progress of the work on the project. On this occasion, Member Engineering CDA and officers of other relevant formations were also present.

Pakistan hopes to attract $30bn investment from KSA, UAE
Pakistan hopes to attract as much as $30 billion of investment from Saudi Arabia and the UAE in February to help boost its fragile economy and create job opportunities.“We are going to sign investment agreements of up to $20bn with Saudi Arabia and $10bn with the UAE in the next couple of weeks,” Haroon Sharif, the chairman of Pakistan’s Board of Investment, told The National. “All the required paper work for the deals has been completed with mutual consent of relevant officials of the kingdom and the UAE.”
Indian troops martyr two Kashmiris in Pulwama
SRINAGAR, (DNA): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two youth in Pulwama district, on Friday.The youth identified as Shahid Ahmad Baba and Inayat Ahmad were killed by the troops during a cordon and search operation at Baba Mohalla of Drabgam village in the district. The troops also razed a residential house to rubble on the occasion.

Health ministry wants news pictorial warning on cigarette packs
ISLAMABAD, JAN 29 (DNA) – Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has issued a notification to print new Pictorial Health Warning (PHW) on cigarette packs and outers.The size of new warning has been increased from 50% to 60%. The PHW will be printed on both sides of cigarette packs and outlets, manufactured in the country and imported to Pakistan.
