CM Buzdar visits Mayo Hospital, meets victims of Data Darbar blast
LAHORE (DNA) – Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Usman Buzdar on Thursday has visited Mayo Hospital and met the victims of Data Darbar blast. According to details, the CM informed the patients that inquiry into the explosion has been launched while the search for the terrorist group behind this attack has also been started. On May 9, at least 11 people including three police officials were martyred and scores injured in a suicide blast outside the Data Darbar shrine in Lahore.

Govt accepts IMF demand of increasing electricity, gas prices
ISLAMABAD, May 08 (DNA): The federal government has accepted the demand of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) of increasing electricity and gas prices in the country.The consumers will pay Rs340 billion in three years for electricity and gas. The government has also agreed to make the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) an autonomous body to set electricity prices.
