ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesperson for the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has refuted claims that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari holds iqama (work permit) of any company in Dubai.However, he clarified that Bilawal possesses a special iqama of the Ministry of Presidential Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which he uses for travelling to/from Dubai, and that it has been declared before the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).
Prime suspect in Chinese consulate attack arrested
KARACHI (DNA) – The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) prime suspect involved in the attack on the Chinese consulate in Karachi, in November 2018, has been arrested by the law enforcement agencies.The suspect namely Rashid Brohi has been transported to Pakistan after being detained from a Gulf state.According to details, Brohi had monitored the overall plan of the attack and provided all facilities to the attackers. Prior to the attack, he was sent Rs900,000, and after the attack he fled the country.
French Government repatriated smuggled Archaeological artifacts of Pakistan
PARIS, JUL 02 (DNA) – A large number of smuggled archaeological artefacts of Balochistan, Pakistan, which were seized by the French Customs at the Paris Airport during the years 2006-2007, came to closure with their formal handing over to Pakistan.Mr. Rodolphe GINTZ, Director General of Customs and Indirect Rights, Ministry of Action and Public Accounts of France handed over these rare and precious artefacts, from Balochistan civilization to the Deputy Head of Mission and Charge d’Affaires a.i. Mr. Muhammad Amjad Aziz Qazi in a simple restitution ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan to France, in Paris.
Pakistan keen to expand relations with Belarus: minister

Govt presents Agricultural Emergency Program worth Rs 309 billion
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday has presented agricultural emergency program worth Rs309 billion.According to details, PTI leader Jahangir Tareen and Minister for National Food Security and Research Sahibzada Mehboob Sultan addressed a media conference in Islamabad.During the presser, the leaders said that the program will specifically focus on small farmers, announcing that the federal government will give Rs15 to Rs20 billion to Sindh province. Will promote cage farming under this project, they assured.
Govt paid back $10 bln on debt servicing on loans taken by previous governments: PM
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said PTI government has paid back 10 billion dollars on debt servicing on loans taken by the previous governments.In an interview, he said we are focusing on controlling current account deficit and money laundering to relieve pressure from the rupee. He said we inherited record current account deficit of over 19 billion dollars, which increased pressure on rupee.
Pakistan starts getting Saudi oil supplies
ISLAMABAD, JUL 01 (DNA) -Pakistan is due to begin receiving oil supplies on deferred payments from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the start of the new fiscal year.Pakistan will start receiving monthly oil supplies worth $ 275 million from Saudi Arabia with effect of July 1, 2019.These supplies will continue over the next three years, with a total value of $ 9.9 billion.
