Faisalabad: 7-year-old maid brutally tortured

FAISALABAD (DNA) – A 7-year-old maid was brutally tortured in Faisalabad’s Nisar Colony, Dunya News reported on Sunday.The minor girl was allegedly tormented by the house owner – Awais – and his wife – Sonia. The accused reportedly burnt ears, arms and legs of the maid and broke her fingers.Samanabad police handed over the girl to the Child Protection Bureau and lodged a case against the suspects who managed to escape. The officials are conducting raids to nab the accused.

Shehbaz Sharif reaches Pakistan

Party workers in large numbers welcomed Shehbaz Sharif at the Allama Iqbal International Airport, and showered flower petals on him.300 police officials were deployed at the airport and on the route including Mall Road, Charing Cross, Regal Chowk, Kalma Chowk and Model Town.
