One killed, 20 injured as coach overturns near Pano Aqil

PANO AQIL (DNA) – One person was killed and 20 other were injured when a speeding coach turned turtle near Pano Aqil, a tehsil of Sukkur District in the Sindh province, on Sunday night, According to details a speeding coach while racing with another coach overturned near Pano Aqil, killing its driver on the spot. At least 20 persons were also wounded in the accident.

Bilawal says youth being economically murdered

Last date for filing tax returns extended till August 2: Shabbar

ISLAMABAD, JUL 14 (DNA) -Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Shabbar Zaidi has said the last date for filing tax returns for year 2018 has been extended till 2nd of next month.In a press release in Islamabad, he urged the people to benefit from this opportunity and file their tax returns timely to avoid difficulties.He said according to the Income Tax Ordinance, filing of the tax return is compulsory for those who own a house larger than five hundred square yards  or a vehicle over 1000 cc.

Indonesian Embassy hosts reception for 20 scholarship recipients

ISLAMABAD, JUL 13 (DNA) -Indonesian Embassy in Islamabad hosted a lively reception for the twenty awardees of the Darmasiswa and KNB scholarship programs on Saturday.

The recipients and the alumni of the two Indonesian government funded scholarships, officials of the Embassy with their families,  Director Human Resource Development Division, Higher Education Commission and some Indonesians studying in Islamabad attended the event.

Addressing the gathering, the Counsellor Cultural Affairs of the Embassy Deny Tri Basuki congratulated the scholarship recipients and elaborated that the Scholarships were a financial assistance offered by the Indonesian Government to international students coming from developing countries to pursue their academic programs at the Indonesian Universities.

Govt decides to not take immediate action against judge Arshad Malik
