FM Qureshi discuss bilateral ties with Norwegian counterpart

ABU DHABI, (DNA) – Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi met his Norwegian counterpart, Ms. Ine Eriksen Soreide, on the sidelines of Sir Bani Yas Forum in Abu Dhabi. Recognizing the positive developments in bilateral relations, the two Foreign Ministers stressed upon the need to further promote bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest, including political, economic, trade and investment, education, culture and parliamentary exchanges.

Court seeks another extension to wind up Sharif’s references

ISLAMABAD, Nov 16 (DNA): An accountability court on Friday sought another extension from the Supreme Court to wrap-up the under trial two corruption references against Nawaz Sharif.Judge Arshad Malik in his letter to the registrar of the apex court stated, “the ongoing trial against Nawaz Sharif in Al-Azizia and Flagship Investment references is near to its end. It is not possible to complete the trial as per the deadline given by the top court thus more time should be granted.”
