Tashkent hosts meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of SCO

Tashkent, (DNA) — The 18th meeting of the Council of Heads of Government (Prime Ministers) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) was held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.Singh, Minister of Defense of the Republic of India, Ma Ming, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Li Keqiang, Prime Minister of the State Council of the people’s Republic of China, Abu Gaziyev, Prime Minister of the. Ahmed, Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev of the Government of the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Razurzoda of the Republic of Tajikistan and Prime Minister Aripov of the Republic of Uzbekistan attended the meeting.

The Indonesian embassy in Islamabad arranged a Familiarization Trip for Pakistani media persons titled FAMTRIP 2019, albeit this time with new destinations. The trip started with participants’ participation in 34th Indonesia Trade Expo that took place in Jakarta from October 16 to 20. Hundreds of delegates from across the globe chose to be part of this mega event with a sizeable representation from Pakistan also. Every year businessmen and even visitors from various countries find it convenient to attend this expo with a view to not only exploring Indonesian potential in different fields but to forge business partnerships as well. The regular holding of this expo is a clear manifestation of its success and utility. Hats therefore off to the incumbent Indonesia government spearheaded by President Joko Widodo under whose guidelines such expos are organized in order to make Indonesia better understand in the outer world besides showcasing its real potential.

No other option but to send this govt packing: Maulana Fazlur Rehman

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Chief of JUI-F Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Sunday said they have no other option and these rulers have to go home.Addressing the gathering of Azadi March, he said they have to give right of vote to this nation.”They are asking us to go and file complaints with the election commission,” he said. “Election Commission is even more helpless than us,” he added.He said that if the election commission was not so helpless, such a large crowd wouldn t have assembled in Islamabad.”We have decided not to go to any court or election commission,” he said. “Only a parliamentary committee will decide about rigging.”

Bilawal says PPP cannot participate in JUI-F’s sit-in

BAHAWALPUR, Nov 03 (DNA): Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has made an announcement that his political party will not take part in the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) led sit-in in the federal capital Islamabad. Pakistan’s success lies in failure of ‘halwa march’: Fawad Chaudhry

ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Sunday has said that failure of ‘halwa march’ by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) is Pakistan’s success.In a post on social-networking website Twitter, the minister claimed that Azadi March is being organized by those whose ancestors opposed Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Pakistan movement.Defeat of this class (Azadi March protesters) is a key to Pakistan’s bright future, he added.Fawad Chaudhry further hoped that the matter of anti-government protest will soon be concluded.

Pakistan, China agree on joint ventures in agricultural sectors
