Facebook, Instagram down for users across the globe
SAN FRANCISCO: (DNA) – Facebook and Instagram users lost access to the social network’s applications in parts of the world Wednesday as a result of an outage of undetermined origin.The California giant which has more than two billion users acknowledged the outage after users noted on Twitter they could not access Facebook or had limited functionality.“We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible,” a Facebook statement said on Twitter.
Trump raises possibility of walking away from China deal
WASHINGTON: (DNA) – President Donald Trump on Wednesday dangled the prospect of walking away from a new trade deal with China if it’s not to his liking, just as he cut short his summit with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un when the two sides failed to reach an agreement.Trump spoke on the state of negotiations with China shortly before meeting with Republican senators on trade issues. He spoke optimistically of the US and China being able to reach an agreement, declaring that “China has not been doing well. We’ve been doing unbelievably well.”

Kartarpur talks: Pakistani delegation departs for India

China to grant $1 billion for social development: Khusro Bakhtiar

AIOU upgrades teachers’ training program
ISLAMABAD, MAR 13 (DNA) – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has re-introduced teacher training programs (MEd and BEd) from the new semester, spring 2019.These programs have been upgraded and revised in line with the guideline, set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC).
