BAKU, – “526 observers were registered in Goygol-Dashkesan election constituency #101”, Chairman of the Constituency Election Commission Abbas Zalov told.He noted that 74 of the registered observers are independent and the rest are the members of eight political parties. The constituency with 120 polling stations includes 42,874 voters. 43 of them will exercise their right to vote for the first time. There 4 voters who are over 100 years old.

BAKU, JAN 27 – The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia will hold their next meeting on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict on January 29-30 in Geneva, Report says, citing Spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Leyla Abdullayeva.“Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said earlier that the meeting with his Armenian counterpart would take place at the end of January. In this regard, confirming the information spread earlier, I would like to inform you that on January 29-30, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will meet with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs and his Armenian counterpart Zohrab Mnatsakanyan in Geneva,” Abdullayeva said.

BAKU, JAN 27 – As many as 1,374 people continue the struggle for MP mandates in Azerbaijan, Trend reports Jan. 27.Meanwhile, 263 candidates withdrew their candidacies at various stages of the election process.A total of 2,431 people applied to participate in the early parliamentary elections to be held in Azerbaijan on Feb. 9, 2020.

BAKU JAN 27 – “Preparations for the parliamentary elections to be held on February 9 are successfully underway in Jalilabad village constituency #68,” chairman of the Constituency Election Commission Mehman Rzayev told.Mehman Rzayev noted that 10 candidates running for the upcoming parliamentary elections have been registered from the constituency with 40,680 voters.Rzayev said that 74 observers have been registered to monitor the election process.
