ISLAMABAD, MAY 27 (DNA): The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Monday heard a petition by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in which party office given to Maryam Nawaz in Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) was challenged.A three-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Justice Sardar Raza Khan heard petition challenging Maryam Nawaz’s appointment as vice president of the PML-N.PTI counsel informed the bench that Maryam Nawaz was appointed as the party’s vice president on May 03, 2019.

Bulletproof cars import: NAB to record Nawaz Sharif’s statement in jail
LAHORE (DNA) – An investigation team of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Monday has arrived in Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore – where former premier Nawaz Sharif has been serving a seven-year sentence awarded to him in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference case – to interrogate him in a case of an alleged import of 34 bulletproof vehicles from Germany without payment of customs duty on any of them in the year 2016.The team will record his statement in the case.
Another fake Chinese marriage scam unearthed in Lalamusa
LALAMUSA, MAY 27 (DNA) – Another fake Chinese marriage scam has unearthed as three Chinese nationals have reached Lalamusa city.According to Lalamusa police sources, three Chinese nationals arrived in Lalamusa. One of the Chinese national had already paid RS 10000 in advance to family of village Werowall.Werowall is a small suburban village of Lalamusa and people are mostly less educated and poor. That is why the poor family seemed to have fallen prey to the temptation.
Uzbekistan’s Deputy PM Elyor Ganiev arrives in Islamabad
