BAKU, FEB 14 – Head of the Azerbaijani community of Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region Tural Ganjaliyev has met with Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office on the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict Andrzej Kasprzyk, reports referring to the community.The meeting, which was held in the office of the community, was also attended by the community members.During the meeting, Tural Ganjaliyev emphasized that he will more actively continue his work as an elected MP from Azerbaijan’s Nagorno-Karabakh region.
New deputy economy minister of Azerbaijan appointed
BAKU, FEB 13 – – A new deputy economy minister of Azerbaijan has been appointed, reports with reference to the ministry.According to the ministry, Rovshan Najaf has been appointed to this post by order of the head of state.Rovshan Najaf was appointed the chairman of the board of Azerbaijan Financial Monitoring Service in September 2019.Prior to that, Rovshan Najaf headed a department in the Presidential Administration of Azerbaijan, as well as the post of executive director of Azerbaijan Investment Company (prior to 2018).
Turkish president reaches Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, FEB 13 (DNA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan along with his spouse Emine Erdoğan has reached Islamabad on two days visit.Prime Minister Imran Khan received and welcomed President of Turkey, Tayyip Erdogan and his wife Emine Erdoğan as they stepped down the airplane at the Nur Khan Airbase on Thursday.Children presented the bouquet to both Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his wife upon their arrival.

ISLAMABAD, FEB 13 (DNA) –Appointment of new Qatri ambassador to Pakistan has been delayed because Pakistani side has not yet gave green signal to the Qatri side.According to details the new Qatar ambassador Mohammad Al thani who hailed from the Royal family of Qatar was nominated few months ago however he could not assume his duties due to Pakistan Foreign Office’s reluctance.Diplomatic sources claim the Pakistan Foreign Ministry has submitted its reservations to the Qatari Foreign Ministry however Qatar foreign ministry still wants to appoint the member of the Royal family as ambassador.

But Azerbaijan also takes into account the experience of our friends and partners, also taking the historical heritage of Azerbaijani people.”
Iran envoy calls for enhanced Iran-Pakistan cooperation
ISLAMABAD, — Mohammad Ali Hosseini made the remarks during a meeting with Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group headed by Naveed Qamar at Parliament House on Wednesday.Pakistan-Iran Parliamentary Friendship Group comprises of 137 members and it is the largest group in Pakistan’s National Assembly, the lower house of the Parliament.Ambassador Hosseini said that stronger parliamentary ties between Iran and Pakistan would help to remove hurdles in bilateral relations.
Number of foreigners visiting Azerbaijan increase in January
BAKU, – The number of foreign citizens who arrived in Azerbaijan in January 2020 increased by 35,000 people or 18.1 percent compared to January 2019, reaching 226,000 people, reports referring to the country’s State Tourism Agency on Feb. 12.The largest increase was observed among visitors from Russia and Georgia. The number of citizens who arrived from Russia increased by 20.5 percent, amounting to 68,000 people, and from Georgia – by 8,000 people or 14.6 percent, amounting to 64,000 people.
