RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended entry to the Kingdom for the purpose of Umrah and visiting the Prophet’s Mosque, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Thursday.Saudi Arabia have also suspended the entry of tourist visa holders coming from countries where the new coronavirus is spreading dangerously, according to the criteria determined by the competent health authorities in the Kingdom.
9th Session of Pakistan-Kazakhstan Inter-governmental Joint Commission on Feb 27
ISLAMABAD, FEB 26 (DNA) – The 9th Session of Pakistan-Kazakhstan Inter-governmental Joint Commission (IJC) is scheduled to take place in Islamabad on 27-28 February 2020. The IJC session will be followed by the Inaugural round of Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) on 28 February 2020.Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood will lead the Pakistan side, whereas Mr. Shakhrat Nuryshev, First Deputy Foreign Minister, will head the Kazakhstan delegation.

PM Imran Khan to depart for Qatar before US-Taliban peace deal
ISLAMABAD, FEB 26 (DNA) – Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi addressing a press conference alongside US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross on Wednesday announced PM Imran Khan’s official visit to Qatar before US-Taliban peace deal signing.
FM Qureshi also announced that he himself would be present at the US – Taliban peace deal signing ceremony in Doha, Qatar. Prime Minister Imran Khan will pay a day-long visit to Qatar on Thursday, media reported earlier in the day citing sources.
Sources said the prime minister will call on Emir of Qatar and hold a meeting with his Qatari counterpart to discuss issues of mutual interest. The Pakistani delegation may include PM’s Special Assistant on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfikar Bukhari and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum Nadeem Babar.
PM Khan will also hold a meeting with investors of Qatar and business community, said sources. Earlier in 2018, PM Imran Khan visited Qatar on the invitation of Qatar’s Emir. He was accompanied by Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, then Finance Minister Asad Umar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bokhari.
During the two-day visit, PM Khan held meetings with Qatari counterpart and Emir of Qatar. Maters of mutual interest, bilateral relations, economic cooperation and other issues were discussed in the meetings. Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani also hosted dinner in the honour of Prime Minister Imran Khan. = DNA

LHC to hear Maryam Nawaz’s name removal petition from ECL on March 11
LAHORE – The Lahore High Court (LHC) has fixed Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz’s petition to remove her name from the Exit Control List (ECL) for hearing on March 11.Maryam Nawaz had filed the miscellaneous petition through her lawyer, Amjad Pervez, requesting the court to grant her permission to go abroad to see her ailing father Nawaz Sharif. The medical reports of Nawaz Sharif were made a part of the plea.
Punjab govt writes to federation for inquiry against Nawaz Sharif
LAHORE – Punjab government on Wednesday has sent a letter to federation for inquiry against ex-Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, who is currently in London for medical treatment, in connection with extension in his bail plea.According to details, Punjab Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Raja Basharat has told that federal government will move trial court against the former premier.On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader Attaullah Tarar told that Punjab government has not yet formally informed about any step regarding Nawaz Sharif’s bail extension.
