ISLAMABAD, FEB 29 (DNA) – First Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Shakhrat Nuryshev has said both Kazakhstan and Pakistan enjoy close relations adding both countries have huge potential to further promote and deepen these relations.He expressed these views while speaking during an interaction with Pakistani media and intellectuals facilitated by think-tank CGSS.The Kazakh minister along with his delegation visited Pakistan for the Inaugural Session of Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between Pakistan and Kazakhstan.

ISLAMABAD, FEB 28 (DNA) – The Inaugural Session of Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between Pakistan and Kazakhstan was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.The Pakistan side was led by Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood, while First Deputy Foreign Minister Shakhrat Nuryshev led the Kazakh side.Bilateral Political Consultations is an important mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries to review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and explore new avenues for future cooperation.

Rabat, FEB 28 – Morocco and Pakistan are looking to strengthen bilateral cooperation in several fields including security, joint military training, intelligence sharing, and counter-terrorism.Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who recently visited Morocco as part of an initiative to boost bilateral cooperation, met with several high-ranking Moroccan officials to explore defense cooperation between two countries.

ISLAMABAD, FEB 28 (DNA) – A high-profile panel discussion on Pakistan’s digital future attended by prominent players in the local digital industry was hosted on Thursday evening by Serena hotels as part of its Public Diplomacy Initiative called “Raabta”.The event titled “Reimagine our Digital Future – Preparing to thrive or survive?” was hosted by Raabta curator and prominent journalist Sidra Iqbal. Raabta is a nonpartisan public initiative by Serena hotels to initiate dialogue aimed at creating awareness amongst diverse groups and networks on critical aspects of socially significant fields such as the economy, health and education.

The Turkish president’s visit laid out various historical facts about the two countries’ relations. Bilateral ties between Turkey and Pakistan have historically been exemplary, and the two brotherly countries have never left each other stranded in times of need. Turkey has always remained a close friend of Pakistan over the years. Pakistan, on the other hand, is going through a difficult phase in its war against militancy and extremism, but as a nation, Pakistan has shown that it has adequate capacity to rid itself of such problems. In addition to political and security-related collaboration between the two countries, there is also a need to center point on further strengthening economic and trade cooperation.
