Govt warns stern actions against traders who raise face mask price: Nausheen
ISLAMABAD, Mar 1 (DNA) – Parliamentary Secretary, National Health Services Regulations and Coordination Nausheen Hamid Sunday said government was taking serious notice of high increase in prices of face masks.She said the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has started crackdown on those involved in price hike of the protective gears.Nausheen Hamid said authorities are cracking down on profiteers, following complaints that some businesses and individuals have been selling face masks for grossly inflated prices amid a surge in demand.
How Uzbekistan contributed to Afghan peace deal?

Kazakhstan minister calls for further cementing of bilateral ties

Inaugural Session of BPC between Pakistan, Kazakhstan held in Islamabad
ISLAMABAD, FEB 28 (DNA) – The Inaugural Session of Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between Pakistan and Kazakhstan was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.The Pakistan side was led by Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood, while First Deputy Foreign Minister Shakhrat Nuryshev led the Kazakh side.Bilateral Political Consultations is an important mechanism between the two Foreign Ministries to review the entire spectrum of bilateral relations and explore new avenues for future cooperation.
Morocco, Pakistan determined to boost security cooperation
Rabat, FEB 28 – Morocco and Pakistan are looking to strengthen bilateral cooperation in several fields including security, joint military training, intelligence sharing, and counter-terrorism.Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa, who recently visited Morocco as part of an initiative to boost bilateral cooperation, met with several high-ranking Moroccan officials to explore defense cooperation between two countries.

MULTAN – Multan Sultans beat Karachi Kings by 52 runs in the tenth match of the fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Multan.Playing first, Multan Sultans set a target of 187 runs for Karachi Kings.Sultans had lost their first wicket against Kings in the fifth over when Zeeshan Ashraf (23 off 13) was dismissed leaving his team at 31/1 in 4.1 overs.Earlier, Karachi Kings won the toss against Multan Sultans in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) and decided to field first at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
