Pakistan’s role for global peace is evident; says Ijaz Shah

ISLAMABAD, Mar 2 (DNA) – Federal Minister for Interior, Brig (R) Ijaz Ahmad Shah Monday said Pakistan’s role and efforts for global peace are evident.During a meeting with the Palestinian Ambassador Ahmed Jawad A A Rebbei here at the Ministry of Interior, he said our stance regarding the Kashmir issue is in front of the whole world, we have given message of peace at all levels, a press release said.The ambassador said Pakistan has given a very strong message of peace at international level by opening the Kartarpur Corridor for Sikh pilgrims.

German ambassador opens exhibition “Worlds of Culture”

LAHORE, MAR 02 (DNA) – German Ambassador Bernhard Schlagheck on Monday has opened an exhibition of the German Federal Foreign Office named “Worlds of Culture” at the Lahore Fort together with Mr. Kamran Lashari, Director General of the Walled City of Lahore Authority and Naurin Ahmad-Zaki, Director of the Annemarie-Schimmel-Haus in Lahore.The exhibition displays 15 highlights of Germany’s Cultural Heritage Preservation Program worldwide.

Govt warns stern actions against traders who raise face mask price: Nausheen

ISLAMABAD, Mar 1 (DNA) – Parliamentary Secretary, National Health Services Regulations and Coordination Nausheen Hamid Sunday said government was taking serious notice of high increase in prices of face masks.She said the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) has started crackdown on those involved in price hike of the protective gears.Nausheen Hamid said authorities are cracking down on profiteers, following complaints that some businesses and individuals have been selling face masks for grossly inflated prices amid a surge in demand.
