Singapore to arrest people who stand too close to anyone
Singaporeans can now end up behind bars if they don’t practice social distancing.To halt the spread of the coronavirus across the country, authorities announced on Friday jail time for all those who intentionally stand close to someone else. The punishment will last for six months and Sg$10,000 (PKR1,130,250).The city-state has introduced a series of new measures to tackle the virus, including closing bars and cinemas as well as banning large events.
Indonesian embassy officials discuss COVID 19 with IIU President

Shaban moon sighted: Ruet-e-Hilal Committee
The Shaban moon has been sighted and the first of Shaban will fall on March 26, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee said Wednesday.Shab-e-Barat will be observed on April 8, said committee’s chairperson Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.The month of Ramazan is likely to start from 26 or 27 April, depending on the moon sighting.

Britain’s heir to throne Prince Charles tests positive for coronavirus, has mild symptoms
LONDON, MAR 25 – Britain’s heir to the throne, Prince Charles, has tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a statement from his London household.“He has been displaying mild symptoms but otherwise remains in good health and has been working from home throughout the last few days as usual,” a statement from Clarence House, his residence in the capital, said Wednesday.It is not possible to determine who gave the prince — whose official name is the Prince of Wales — the virus, the statement said, “owing to the high number of engagements he carried out in his public role during recent weeks.”
Canadian diplomat named UN special envoy for Afghanistan

Moroccan govt to build mosque in Park Enclave
ISLAMABAD, MAR 24 (DNA) -: Moroccan Government will Build a mosque in the CDA Project Park Enclave -I. In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had forwarded a request of Moroccan Government through its Embassy to the CDA. The Moroccan Government will construct this mosque as token of brotherhood and cordial relations between the governments and people of both countries.The mosque would be built on Moroccan style and would be a masterpiece. The CDA has already allocated 11 kanals of land in the Park Enclave -I for the construction of mosque.

APNS urges PM to include media dues in relief package
ISLAMABAD, MAR 23 (DNA) – The All Pakistan newspapers society has called upon the Prime Minister Imran Khan to include payment of media dues in his relief package scheduled to be announced tomorrow.Hameed Haroon, President, and Sarmad Ali, Secretaty general APNS appealed to the Prime Minister to instruct the federal and provincial governments of Punjab and KP to release the advertising dues of the media amounting to approximately Rs 6 billion, on priority basis to enable the crisis ridden media industry to effectively play its role in creating awareness about COVID-19 and combatting fake news.
