BRUSSELS, APR 10 (DNA) – The European Union has launching its “Team Europe” package to support partner countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences.The objective of the “Team Europe” approach is to combine resources from the EU, its Member States, and financial institutions, in particular the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.The European Commission and the European Investment Bank have already pledged financial support amounting to more than €15.6 billion from existing programmes.
COVID 19: Azerbaijan President allocates AZN 97m
BAKU, APR 10 (DNA) – President Ilham Aliyev has signed an Order to allocate funds for the supply of necessary medical equipment and other medical devices as part of the health measures implemented in the Republic of Azerbaijan against the coronavirus pandemic.Under the presidential Order, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance is allocated 97 million manats for the supply of necessary medical equipment and other medical devices in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic and strengthen the fight against it.
UK, Pakistan have huge trade potential: envoy

Broadening split in India’s Federation: in-depth study

One belt one road vision introduced by China is also knocking at the door of Afghanistan therefore it is up to the Afghan government and people of Afghanistan to try to seize this moment before it gets too late. Stability in Afghanistan is a must for stability in the region. Let us hope peace shall soon return of Afghanistan.
Pakistan terms elections in occupied Nagorno Karabakh illegal

It is taken as an attempt by Armenia to hamper the ongoing negotiation process for finding lasting solution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict through peaceful means.
Turkish Ambassador distributes ration among poor people

EU continues to push for cease-fire in Afghanistan
KABUL – The EU Delegation in agreement with EU Heads of Mission based in Kabul have called for an immediate implementation of a comprehensive and nation-wide humanitarian ceasefire in Afghanistan, in line with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres´ appeal for a stop to armed conflicts.The COVID-19 pandemic is threatening all Afghans alike, women and men, young and elderly. As the outbreak grows in the next days and weeks, strong safety measures are needed to protect lives at risk. Continued fighting would make it very difficult to contain the deadly disease, provide medical assistance and distribute international aid, the EU mission said in a statement on Wednesday.
China’s huge support to Pakistan combating COVID-19 continues
ISLAMABAD, APR 9 (DNA) – China reassured that its huge support to Pakistan will continue and there will be no shortage of medical equipment to combat COVID-19, reports Gwadar Pro App on Thursday.Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing said that “it is Pakistan that China has launched most aids to control the deadly vitrus.” Likewise, the National Disaster Management Authority informed that China made a huge contribution in medical relief assistance to Pakistan amid the pandemic outbreak and China made 80% of the total aid Pakistan has received so far.
