Tajikistan’s Chairmanship in Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe Forum for Security Co-operation

Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) with 57 participating States in North America, Europe and Asia, is the world’s largest regional security organization.The OSCE works for stability, peace and democracy for more than a billion people, through political dialogue about shared values and through practical work that makes a lasting difference.The Forum for Security Co-operation(FSC) is one of the OSCE’s two main regular decision-making bodies. Leaders at the 1992 Helsinki Summit of the Conference for Security and Cooperation in Europe – the OSCE’s predecessor – established the Forum for Security and Co-operation to strengthen the focus on politico-military security by providing for negotiations and consultations on military security and stability in the CSCE area.

Pakistan Army firmly stand by Kashmir people: Army Chief

RAWALPINDI, AUG 06 (DNA) – Corps Commanders’ Conference presided by General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) held at General Head Quarters (GHQ) today on single point agenda of situation regarding Kashmir.Forum fully supported Government’s rejection of Indian actions regarding Kashmir. Pakistan never recognised the sham Indian efforts to legalise its occupation of Jammu & Kashmir through article 370 or 35-A decades ago; efforts which have now been revoked by India itself.“Pakistan Army firmly stands by the Kashmiris in their just struggle to the very end. We are prepared and shall go to any extent to fulfill our obligations in this regard”, COAS affirmed.

Sri Lankan MPs visit PIPS

ISLAMABAD (DNA) -Deputy Speaker of Sri Lanka parliament was accorded a rousing welcome when he Visited ” Pakistan Institute of Parliamentary Services” by the Director General (PIPS) and the Management in Islamabad .He was accompanied by  Mohan de silva MP,  Neil Iddawela, Chief of Staff and Deputy Secretary General of parliament and the High Commissioner for Srilanka in Pakistan.It was agreed at the discussion to obtain the services of PIPS to improve the quality of Parliamentary Services in Sri Lanka.=DNA

Joint session of Parliament witnesses unruly scenes

ISLAMABAD (DNA). The joint sitting of Parliament convened to discuss Indian move to change status of Occupied Kashmir saw unruly scenes when the Opposition parties objected to the contents of the resolution presented Azam Swati. The resolution did not contain mention of Article 370.The opposition also demanded that prime minister Imran Khan should also come to the parliament. After this the Speaker adjourned the session for 20 minutes.=DNA

OIC to hold emergency meeting on Kashmir dispute in Jeddah today

JEDDAH (DNA) – An emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir has been called today (Tuesday) in Jeddah – as the Indian government yesterday rushed through a presidential decree to abolish Articles 370 and 35A of its constitution to scrap special status granted to Indian-occupied Kashmir (IOK).According to Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal, the meeting would discuss the recent illegal developments by India in IOK.Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will lead Pakistani delegation, and representatives from Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijan, Turkey and other member countries will also attend the meeting.

Chairman PPP condemns Indian act of revoking special status to Kashmir

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that the butcher of Gujrat has now become butcher of Kashmir as he has revoked special status of occupied Kashmir.Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that while talking to media in front of Parliament House. He said that we have to expose this butcher Modi and the entire world knows that he is a terrorist. Pakistan should raise Kashmir issue on every international forum. This Indian act is an attack on Kashmiri people. The entire Kashmiri leadership has been arrested.Chairman PPP said that Imran Khan had issued statement on the eve of Modi’s win in the Indian elections that Modi can resolve Kashmir issue but PPP had said that they do not have any hope with Modi.

PM IK calls Malaysian counterpart to discuss occupied Kashmir situation      

ISLAMABAD, AUG 05 (DNA) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday telephoned his Malaysian counterpart Mahathir Bin Mohamad to discuss the current situation of occupied Kashmir with him following the end of special status of the valley by India.According to the details, PM Imran in a telephonic conversation with Malaysian PM Mahathir said that changing the special status of Indian Kashmir is a violation of the United Nations (UN) resolutions, and Indian illegal action will affect regional peace and security. “Indian action will further deteriorate relations between the two nuclear neighbors”, he added.

PM Imran Khan briefs Turkish President on Indian move

ISLAMABAD, AUG 5 (DNA) -Prime Minister Imran Khan, as part of outreach to world leaders on the recent developments in Indian Occupied Kashmir, called Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today.The Prime Minister said that India’s illegal actions to modify the special status of the Indian Occupied Kashmir would have serious implications for the regional peace and security.He reiterated that Pakistan would continue its diplomatic, moral and political to the just cause of Kashmiri struggle for their right to self-determination, as enshrined in the United Nations Security Council resolutions.

UAE charity sends 175 Pakistanis for Hajj

ISLAMABAD, AUG 05 (DNA) –The charity of United Arab Emirates (UAE) President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan has sent 175 deserving intending pilgrims from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia for performance of Hajj.Second Secretary of the United Arab Emirates Embassy in Islamabad, Rashid Abdulrahman Al-Zamar Al Ali saw the Hajis off at the airport.Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Aid Pilgrims chose 175 Pakistanis to perform Hajj this year.

OGRA bans use of CNG in public service vehicles

ISLAMABAD, AUG 05 (DNA) – OGRA has imposed a ban on the use of CNG in PSV’s (public service vehicles) keeping in view the safety of public life and property.All stakeholders are expected to comply with the decision in its letter and spirit.The school vans which are private vehicles are not allowed using CNG as fuel and cylinders installed therein to ensure safety of innocent children in pursuance of Sindh Government notification as well as Honourable Sindh High Court Order dated 19-6-2019 in Constitutional petition No. C.P. Nos.D-7529/2018, 280&597/2019 wherein the Honourable court has directed that the District implementation committees shall perform their responsibilities diligently in accordance with the terms of reference mentioned in the notification to avoid any untoward incident / accidents.
