PARIS, AUG 11 (DNA) – Pakistani community of France offered special prayers for the safety and welfare of Kashmiris and pledged their support to their demand for self-determination in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) during EidulAdha prayers.Special arrangements were made at the Embassy of Pakistan to France where community members, officers and staff of the Embassy alongwith their families offered Eid Prayers in large number.
Russia wants Kashmir resolved through Simla, Lahore pacts
MOSCOW, AUG 11 (DNA) – Expressing serious concern over the deteriorating situation in the Indian Held Kashmir (IHK), Russia has asked Pakistan and India to resolve the issue through political and diplomatic means on a bilateral basis in accordance with the provisions of Simla Agreement of 1972 and the Lahore Declaration of 1999.The situation in the IHK deteriorated after India revoked Article 370 of the Constitution on August 5 withdrawing the special status given to Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcating the state into two Union Territories — Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
India want Davis Cup tie moved from Pakistan over occupied Kashmir
New Delhi: (DNA) – India have asked the International Tennis Federation to shift their upcoming Davis Cup tie from Pakistan to a neutral venue due to escalating political tensions between the two nations.The Indian team are scheduled to tour Pakistan’s capital Islamabad for the Asia/Oceania Group 1 tie to be held on September 14 and 15.But relations between the neighbours are badly strained after India revoked the special autonomy status of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 05.

Iran supports Pakistan on occupied Kashmir dispute
