HONG KONG, OCT 02 (DNA) – Hong Kong anti-government protesters are increasingly focusing their anger on mainland Chinese businesses and those with pro-Beijing links, daubing graffiti on store fronts and vandalizing outlets in the heart of the financial center.Protesters took aim at some of China’s largest banks at the weekend, spray-painting anti-China slogans on shuttered branches and trashing ATM machines of outlets such as Bank of China (601988.SS), while nearby international counterparts such as Standard Chartered (STAN.L) escaped untouched.

Pakistan hands over dead body of an Indian soldier to Indian authorities
RAWALPINDI, OCT 01 (DNA) – Pakistan handed over dead body of an Indian Border Security Force soldier to Indian authoritiesIndian BSF soldier Sub Inspector Paritosh Mondal had drowned while crossing Aik Nullah along Working Boundary inside Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir and his body was reported to have swept towards Pakistan side. Indian BSF requested Pakistan Rangers for search of the body.
India forwards agreement draft on Kartarpur Corridor to Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, OCT 01 (DNA) – India on Tuesday has forwarded a draft of agreement regarding Kartarpur Corridor to Pakistan.According to sources, the Pakistani government is considering to send reply to the Indian authorities and also expected to raise service fee.Earlier, Pakistan had decided to invite former Indian Prime Minister (PM) Manmohan Singh on the inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the decision to invite Singh was taken after high-level consultation.
