Frequent online meetings between the two sides are very important. Chinese experts can train Pakistani doctors in order to better combat the pandemic. Data sharing is very important.

Pakistani hospitals should be digitalized. Big Data centres can be established in top 20 hospitals in the first stage, tracking and keeping record of patients will be easy in this way. Telemedicine joint sessions can be held frequently,” he added.

RCCI President Saboor Malik in a statement said that due to lockdown, smart lockdown and complete lockdown on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) the business of cottage industry, Small industry and Retailer Furniture has been affected largely. The lock-down policy should be based on ground realities.

‘Parliamentary system has failed’

LAHORE (DNA) – PML-Q Deputy Secretary Information Khawaja Rameez Hassan has said that the current parliamentary system has failed miserably. No effective political setup is possible without reforms in parliamentary system. He said that it is the responsibility of the patriotic authorities to make possible a transparent and impartial setup that would take practical steps to strengthen the infrastructure of the state.

The constitutional amendments made in the past were a vicious conspiracy to strengthen the atmosphere of self-interest and provincialism, which caused irreparable damage to the education system.

The 18th Amendment weakened the federation. The establishment of military courts was an excellent step which played a key role in controlling the ongoing climate of terrorism in the country.

Sincere and patriotic Pakistanis should defend Pakistan army and law enforcement agencies on print media and social media.

Kazakhstan terms pneumonia reports as false

NUR SULTAN (DNA) -Some Chinese media outlets are claiming that Kazakhstan has reported cases of unknown pneumonia, more deadly than coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan officially states that this information is FALSE.

It should be noted that the WHO introduced codes for pneumonia in the International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10), whileCOVID-19 is diagnosed clinically or epidemiologically, for example through the symptom of ground-glass opacity and affected lungs, and it is not laboratory confirmed.

Kazakhstan, in this regard, like other countries, monitors and keeps a record of  these types of pneumonia, which enables timely management-level decisions aimed at stabilising the incidence and prevalence of the coronavirus infection.

At a briefing on July 9, the Minister of Health of Kazakhstan Alexey Tsoi spoke about the overall number of pneumonia cases in the country: bacterial, fungal, viral origin, including “viral pneumonia of unspecified etiology”, as per the ICD-10 classification.

Therefore, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan emphasizes that the Chinese media reports are FALSE.
