NEW DELHI, (DNA) – Variety Magazine came up with its list of 500 ‘most influential business leaders shaping the global entertainment industry’ for the year 2017 which features 12 Indian personalities, comprising of three Bollywood stars.Salman Khan featured in the list as actor and producer. The 51-year-old actor will be seen opposite Katrina Kaif in Tiger Zinda Hai on December 22. The two have impressed their fans with latest photoshoot.Other Bollywood stars in the list included Priyanka Chopra – as artist, actress and producer – and Karan Johar – as writer, director and producer. Variety Magazine’s list of 500 ‘most influential business leaders shaping the global entertainment industry’ also features nine other Indians.
These are Punit Goenka (Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd CEO and MD), Ekta Kapoor (Balaji Telefilms MD and Creative Director), Aditya Chopra (Yashraj Films Chairman) and Kishore Lulla (Eros International Executive Chairman).
The list goes on with Uday Shankar (Chairman of Star India), Siddharth Kapur (Guild of India Ltd President of The Film & Television Producers), Anil Ambani (Reliance Group Chairman), Subhash Chandra ( Founder and Chairman of Essel group), and Mukesh Ambani (Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director).
It should also mentioned that the list consisting of 500 personalities 362 renowned names from the US, 20 from China, 28 from the UK, 16 from France, 15 from Germany, 8 from Italy, 4 from Mexico and 6 from Spain. The US has the most number of people in the most influential peoples’ list.
