Pakistan’s relations with the Arab Islamic countries are eternal

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s mutual and stable relations with the Islamic countries and  also with the rest of the  world will make Pakistan more stronger, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council,  International Islamic Council.

While talking to media  following an ‘Iftaar Dinner’ arranged in honour of the ambassadors of the OIC countries in Pakistan, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that Pakistan thanks the ambassadors and the leadership of the Islamic world in view of OIC Foreign Ministers’ Council summit in Pakistan.

Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that Arab Islamic world has nothing to do with the change of government in Pakistan.

All the countries including Kingdom of

Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE) have relationship with Pakistan and the people of Pakistan.

Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi also vowed that they will continue to play  respective role for stability and betterment of Pakistan’s relations with the Arab Islamic world as continued in the past.

Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that no one becomes a traitor by holding meeting with the ambassadors, said Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council and President of International Islamic Council Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi.

 At Iftaar Dinner, hosted in the honor of the ambassadors of OIC member countries, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al Maliky and ambassadors of Egypt, Iran, Palestine, Morocco, Japan, Germany, Libya, Kuwait, Azerbaijan, Norway, Holland, Jordan, Bangladesh and many other countries attended.

 Speaking on the occasion of Iftar Dinner, Hafiz Tahir Ashrafi said that he worked day in and day out to strengthen and enhance coordination among Pakistan’s relations with the Arab Islamic world and all these efforts will be continued.

Pakistan’s relations with Iraq moved towards stability after 35 year, with Egypt after 16 years and with Kuwait with 16 years, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi.

OIC Foreign Ministers’ Council summit in Islamabad twice in a period of four months is success of Pakistan and for the people of Pakistan.

The positive conduct demonstrated by the opposition during the OIC Foreign Ministers’Council summit in Pakistan was lauded and appreciated.

 Responding to a question, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi said that during the last 15 months, not a single case registered in Pakistan on account of misuse of blasphemy law and on the misuse of Toheen-e-Namoose-e-Risalat (S.A.W) and Toheen-e-Mazhab’.

 He also stated that holding meeting with the ambassadors does not make anyone traitor and disbelief.

Thorough investigations should be conduct into the ‘Threat letter’ from US, said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi.

He also stated that

Pakistan is a great power of the Islamic world.

Pakistan should not be misunderstood.

He said that he has not seen the US threat letter, therefore he can’t  comment on it.
