ISLAMABAD, FEB 20 (DNA) — Motorcycle-ridden dacoits opened fire at the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Police personnel amid snap checking near the Jinnah Gardens in the federal capital.
Police have arrested a dacoit while three of his accomplices managed to flee the scene. Police have also recovered the crime weapon from the accused’s possession. The accused, Arshad Azmi, turned out to be a criminal with a long record of possessing illegal weapons and committing dacoities.
The suspect also went to jail against four FIRs lodged in Police Station Shehzad Town. Police have launched further investigation into the matter. ==DNA
