ISLAMABAD: The performance by the Hungarian dance ensemble 4 for Dance was presented on the occasion of Hungary’s National Day.

Formed in 2004, the four-man group blends authentic elements of Hungarian folk dance with virtuosic rhythm work, modern showmanship, and humor, creating a distinctive style that has taken them across five continents. Over roughly twenty years they have given nearly 2,500 performances in about fifty countries and have won multiple world titles, including at the 2009 Dance World Cup.

The Islamabad appearance formed part of the cultural celebrations marking the anniversary of the 1956 Hungarian Revolution and the 1989 proclamation of the Republic, underscoring the long-standing friendly ties between Hungary and Pakistan.
