KARACHI ,20 AUG (DNA) — Meezan School System (MSS) hosted a strategic get-together and Advisory Board session for its Sindh Chapter at the Pearl-Continental (PC) Hotel, Karachi, bringing together prominent educationists, policy leaders, and public sector stakeholders to review blueprints for its upcoming academic footprint and nationwide scaling.
The session was chaired by M. Adnan Mukhtar, Chief Executive Officer of Meezan School System, who presented the core vision, development updates, and operational readiness for the upcoming soft launch. Director of Academics Faiza Fatima briefed the assembly on MSS’s academic framework, focusing on blended learning methodologies, foundational literacy benchmarks, and modern curriculum scaffolding.
The gathering featured valuable consultative insights from distinguished advisory members and public sector leaders: * Dr. Fauzia Khan, Chief Advisor & Head of Curriculum Implementation Wing / Member, School Education & Literacy Department (SELD), Sindh, emphasized aligning MSS modules with official Sindh education policies, integrating Middle-Tech and Matric-Tech vocational streams, introducing early career orientation, and implementing diagnostic progress tracking.
* Dr. Rana Hussain, Senior Education Policy Advisor and Former Sindh Minister for School Education & Literacy, advocated for modern educational technology and targeted foundational literacy from Early Childhood through Grade 3. * Ms. Farah Sohail, Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), Sindh, highlighted the importance of continuous, segmented teacher-training programs and engaging regional educational partners across Sindh.
* Dr. Maroof Bin Rauf, Assistant Professor at the Department of Education, University of Karachi, underlined value-based education and proposed academic collaboration with the University of Karachi for faculty development and model campus development.
* Ms. Uzma, Director of the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Directorate, SELD Sindh, underscored the necessity of adhering to standardized provincial ECCE benchmarks across all emerging campuses.
